Southern Landscaping and Lawncare, Inc. is a locally owned and operated company. The company was established in 1986 and in 1988 the organization became incorporated. Since then, the company has grown from a small operation to a full service landscape company. In 2000, Southern added a hardscape division, which consists of designing and constructing patios, walls, and stone structures. Then in March 2003, a Garden and Gift Shop was opened in the heart of Columbia County; this location serves ground for all of Southern’s operations. In 2004, Southern began an outdoor lighting company and in 2005 Holiday Décor was established. Mid 2006, Southern expanded and opened a corporate office next to their Garden and Gift Shop. In 2007 the expansion brought about a stone and mulch yard, as well as more grounds for plant material.
